Storytellers Rome and Storytellers Florence are monthly English language oral storytelling evenings we began hosting back in 2015 in Rome and 2018 in Florence. In Rome, the event takes place outdoors in warm weather at The Beehive and at Zem Yoga Studio in colder/wetter months. In Florence, the event is held at Todo Modo bookshop. A theme is decided on either by us or by a member poll and then people attending the event are invited to share a story based on the theme. Participation is not required to attend. It's a few hours away from our screens, creating connections, friendships and community in the sharing.
Walks & Tours with Linda
What about a person instead of an app?
With 20+ years in hospitality, travel & tourism in Rome and Italy in general, Linda has a wealth of information she freely shares with guests at the front desk. For a more curated, detailed, and personal experience, Linda is available for private walks of Rome and Orvieto and also private outings by car in the surrounding countryside of Orvieto & southern Tuscany. If you want a historical tour with a licensed guide, we work with a few small-group walking tour companies that we have personally used ourselves and which also give our guests a discount with a promo code. We can recommend other companies that offer everything from food to sketching to scooter tours. Send us an email for more information or check at reception during your stay. Click on "Read More" below for information on Linda's services.
